دهب (Goldie) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting user data. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use the دهب (Goldie) mobile application.

This Privacy Policy applies to the دهب (Goldie) mobile application available on Google Play.

دهب is an educational and Islamic utility application that provides Quran reading, Quran audio recitation, Azkar, Tasbih, prayer times, Qibla direction, news updates, and optional in-app virtual rewards.

1. Information We Collect

دهب collects only the minimum information required to operate core application features.

• Account Information:
  Users may sign in using Google Authentication. When signing in, we receive a unique user ID and basic profile information such as the user's email address for account identification and authentication purposes.
• Location Data:
  The app requests access to your device location solely to calculate accurate prayer times and determine the Qibla (prayer direction). Location data is processed locally on your device and is never stored on our servers or shared with any third party. Location access is only used when you open the prayer times or Qibla features.
• Wallet and Transactions:
  The app stores virtual wallet balances and transaction history related to the use of in-app virtual currencies (AGC and SGC).
• App Preferences:
  The application may store certain settings locally on the device such as font size, reading progress, Tasbih counts, selected Quran reciter, prayer calculation method, and interface preferences to improve user experience.
• Prayer Time Notifications:
  The app schedules local alarm notifications with Adhan (call to prayer) audio at prayer times selected by the user. These are local device notifications only and do not involve any remote servers. No audio recordings from the user are collected.
• Notifications:
  The app may schedule local notifications on the device to remind users about features, reminders, or updates. These notifications are generated locally and do not require remote push notification services.

دهب does not collect contacts, SMS data, call logs, photos, audio recordings from the user, device identifiers, or personal files from the device.

The app may also store limited in-app interaction data such as reactions to news or notifications history to provide app functionality.

2. In-App Virtual Currencies

دهب includes two virtual currencies used exclusively inside the application:

• AGC (Ancient Gold Coin):
  A virtual currency that can be purchased through Google Play Billing or earned through certain in-app features such as referrals. AGC can only be used to unlock digital features, subscriptions, or services inside the application. AGC has no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged or withdrawn as real money.
• SGC (Silver Gold Coin):
  A virtual reward currency earned through participation in certain app activities such as referrals. SGC can be converted into AGC for in-app usage only and also has no real-world monetary value.

3. Payments

All purchases in دهب are processed securely through Google Play Billing. The application does not collect, store, or process credit card or payment information directly. All payment information is handled securely by Google Play according to Google's privacy policies.

4. Subscriptions

دهب may offer optional digital subscriptions that unlock premium features within the application. Subscriptions are virtual, non-transferable, and managed securely through Google Play. Subscription status may be verified by the application server to enable or disable premium features.

5. Third-Party Services

دهب relies on trusted infrastructure services necessary to operate the application, including:

• Google Play Services
• Google Play Billing
• Google Authentication (Google Sign-In)
• Supabase (backend infrastructure and database services)

These services may process limited information necessary to provide authentication, payment verification, and backend functionality according to their own privacy policies.

These services act only as infrastructure providers required for authentication, billing verification, and secure backend operation.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data against unauthorized access, misuse, or loss. All communication between the application and backend services is encrypted using secure HTTPS (TLS) connections.

7. Data Sharing

دهب does not sell, rent, or trade personal information. User data is only processed by trusted infrastructure providers required to operate the application, such as Supabase and Google Play services.

8. Account Deletion

After verification, the account and associated data will be permanently deleted, except where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

9. Data Retention

We retain user account information and virtual wallet data only for as long as necessary to provide the application's services.

If a user requests account deletion, all associated personal data will be permanently deleted within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

10. Children's Privacy

دهب may include educational and religious content. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will promptly remove such information.

11. Islamic Content Sources

دهب uses the following openly licensed Islamic content sources:

• Quran Audio Recitations: Streamed from mp3quran.net, a free Islamic resource whose rights are available to everyone including for commercial purposes. No personal data is sent to this service.
• Adhan Recordings: Sourced from the Internet Archive ( Adhan Recordings from Doha, Qatar), licensed under Public Domain Mark 1.0. No personal data is shared.
• Prayer Time Calculation: Performed entirely on-device using the open-source adhan library (MIT License). No prayer data is sent to any server.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
